Robert Gretton is the Chief Financial Officer of Banner, with responsibility for finance, accounting, and information technology. Mr Gretton has been in this global role since joining the company in January, 2000, with responsibilities that include operations based in the US, Canada, Mexico, and the Netherlands.

Mr. Gretton has extensive international pharmaceutical industry experience. He worked for Abbott and Beecham/SmithKline Beecham in the UK for 20 years, before transferring with SKB to the United States in 1990. From 1996 he worked for Mallinckrodt before joining Banner.

Mr. Gretton is a professional accountant, with qualifications as a Chartered Management Accountant in the UK. In addition to financial positions, he has over eight years as leader of global supply chain functions. Mr. Gretton also has some consulting experience, and has worked for several large and small companies as an advisor on supply chain and financial issues.

Mr. Gretton earned a degree in Business Administration in the UK, in addition to his professional financial qualifications. He is an active participant in local civic affairs, and is a member of the Greensboro Partnership, serving on the operating committee of the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce.
