Charles L. Cain joined Banner in 2000 as General Counsel; he is currently Global Vice President - Legal and Human Resources.  In this role, he manages all legal affairs for the company and is responsible for government relations, public affairs and all human resource-related activities.

Prior to joining Banner, Mr. Cain was a Partner with the law firm of Wyatt Early Harris & Wheeler, L.L.P., High Point, North Carolina where he advised companies on financings, acquisitions and general corporate matters.  Mr. Cain was previously a partner with an Atlanta firm where he practiced securities and corporate law.

Mr. Cain received a JD/MBA degree in 1981 from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill where he was a member of the North Carolina Law Review.  He received a B.A. in Economics, Cum Laude, from Wake Forest University in 1977.

Mr. Cain is a Board member of the High Point Chamber of Commerce, High Point Economic Development Corporation and the United Way of Greater High Point.
