Banner's global R&D group is comprised of over 80 professionals, with ongoing activities in three locations around the world: USA, Europe, and Mexico. The central R&D group is based out of Banner's headquarters in North Carolina, USA. Our Global Research and Development includes more than 14 PhDs from all over the world with more than 120 years of research experience in the field of drug delivery.
It is this group that has successfully managed to develop Banner's innovative softgel variants. These new dosage forms give Banner a strong foothold in the drug delivery and specialty pharmaceutical industries. Banner's R&D group is currently involved in projects with many of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies, highlighting how we address unmet needs. For example, Banner's R&D laboratory employs advanced technologies for screening drug candidates using
CaCo-2 cell lines to predict oral absorption of drug candidates in humans.
Banner's R&D team continues to proactively develop new technologies to satisfy the unmet needs in oral drug delivery and consumer health care. With experience in biochemistry, cell biology, pharmaceutics, industrial pharmacy, and analytical chemistry, our focus is on combining technologies to enhance bioavailability with existing softgel technology.
